Meet Kamogelo 2025 Au Pair of the Year finalists from Pretoria

Each year, the Au Pair of the Year contest highlights the incredible individuals who leave lasting impacts on their host families and bring the magic of cultural exchange to life. Being a great au pair goes beyond providing childcare—it means sharing your language and traditions, while also learning about the USA and stepping outside of your comfort zone.

This year, we’re excited to share that Kamogelo, au pair from Pretoria, has been named as a finalist in Cultural Care’s Au Pair of the Year competition. Out of over 350 nominees, Kamogelo stands out as an exemplary caregiver and role model, and a leader within the au pair community. Kamogelo has not only shared her South African culture with her host family, she’s also embraced new American holidays and customs.
